In Singapore, the Christian funeral service is often less solemn than other religions since salvation is given to those who believe in Christ. The service tends to be led by a Catholic priest who will deliver the sermon. As such, peaceful prayers and hymns are often heard and encouraged to be sang along during the funeral ceremony led by the church pastor. Sending flowers is always appreciated, but choose an arrangement that is fitting for a somber church atmosphere.
